The EPA has publicly stated that the number one way to reduce solid waste in landfills is through reuse. Yes, recycling plays a critical role in properly reducing solid waste in landfills. However, for any material that is deemed reusable, reuse is the most economical and environmentally friendly way. Simply said, reuse requires the least amount of energy to gain a consumer benefit, it is better for your wallet as well as for Mother Nature.

We agree with the EPA and carry out this belief when processing material at our facilities. When we receive material, it is classified into two different categories; reusable or recyclable equipment. Reusable equipment is sent to our qualified technicians who perform testing, repairing, and upgrading required to make it remarketable. Equipment is classified as recyclable when we realize that it is outdated for reuse and/or beyond repair. When the equipment is deemed recyclable, it is sent to one of many equipment specific dismantling departments. The equipment is manually separated and sorted into various groupings to maximize the final recovery of raw materials.
